Inspired by 20th century Roman shop signage, a scripted logo was developed to be the core element of the brand. The logo was designed to sing with the elegant curves of the marble bar, a central architectural feature by Home Studios.

Martina’s irreverent attitude, lead to the “unbranded” logotype Chicago (1984), designed by Susan Kare. A series of frenetic illustrations were developed to act as the matrix for collateral materials, mimicking the scrappy heritage of the East Village. In a collaboration with LA based Fashion Designer Kristen Gonzalez, an original series of contour line drawn portraits were applied to a variety of textiles for their Fall/Winter 2017 collection. The collection aims to set zero limits to what women can achieve and is for sale at Tictail Market and Bird.

Identity, collateral and web design for Vini e Fritti, a Roman-style aperitivi bar by restaurateur, Danny Meyer.
All aspects of the service and graphic identity are designed to surprise and delight complete with dim sum style menus and pink golf pencils at every table. The logo was inspired by historic Italian street signage, often chiseled directly into the concrete.
